Born in 1942 Kota V Subbaram had his early education in Andhra Pradesh, India, and did his graduation and post-graduation in Physics from the Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India, and had his Doctorate (Physics) from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India. He spent some time in Dublin, Republic of Ireland and in Halifax, Canada, involved in research work, and made some significant contribution to scientific knowledge.
