EAST HAVEN, Conn.

Author Joan Defelippo shares her account of a visionary encounter she says she received from God in her new memoir, "A Vision from Heaven" (published by WestBow Press).

Defelippo believes she has been called to reach out to people worldwide with the story of the vision she says she received from heaven on the feast day of : Corpus Christi, Thursday, May 26, 2005.

"This book is a true account of a pre-death vision from heaven - a non-ordinary reality of a visionary encounter," Defelippo says. "This is a spiritual and inspirational book that is down to earth with true accounts. This is proof that miracles can happen to anyone."

In addition to the miraculous vision Defelippo says she experienced, "A Vision from Heaven" incorporates her life story, candid and personal accounts of her inspiring spiritual journey on earth.

"Now more than ever people need to know miracles happen every day to ordinary people," Defelippo says. "There is definitely a spiritual world. Readers need to believe, pray and be open-minded. Most of all, they need to love."
