Author Forrest R. Fichthorn takes a common-sense approach to the Bible and discusses it at length from beginning to end in his new book, "Six Plus One Equals Seven" (published by WestBow Press).

"Six Plus One Equals Seven" tackles some of the most important questions concerning the Bible and attempts to give straightforward answers. The book offers an explanation as to why God - who could not get tired - took a day of rest after the sixth day of creation and why the number seven continually pops up in various books of the Bible.

Fichthorn also points to what he believes are signs that humanity is currently in the end times. His writings come from casual observations as well as passages in the Bible that Fichthorn believes support his theories.

An excerpt from "Six Plus One Equals Seven":

"To fully appreciate the depth of this book, you must put aside many of the traditions and teachings of Bible scholars. Throughout the centuries, they have taught truths we have accepted, and as a result we have looked no further. The entire Bible, however, is a continuous work of unfolding revelations to those who diligently seek them."
