The life and legacy of actor, writer and director Charles Revis is novelized in his niece Elizabeth Harris' debut novel "What Am I to Do Now, Mama?" (published by Archway Publishing).

When Coy Bronson learns of his good friend, James Dean's, fatal car crash, his world shatters. While attending his funeral, Coy spots the beautiful young Norma Jeane, better known as Marilyn Monroe, and instantly becomes suspicious. She's suspected of stealing scripts from Elizabeth Taylor.

With Rock Hudson, Coy launches a dangerous investigation and attempts to convince Norma to confess or else name the true perpetrator. The case takes a deadly turn, forcing Coy to look back on his successful career as an actor, writer and director and recall how his special relationship with his mother played the most important role in his success.

"What Am I to Do Now, Mama?" paints an intimate portrait of the golden age of Hollywood and some of the biggest players of the era. Harris aims to capture her uncle's legacy in Hollywood as well as accurately portray his intimate relationships with his mother and friends.

"The book is not just about movie stars and their lives, but of Coy's life and all the encounters and famous people he became involved with," Harris explains. "He made things happen; he did not sit around and twiddle his thumbs. The story is about adventure and the many mysteries that came uncovered along the way."
