Kingsport, Tennessee

As the child of a missionary, Dr. Knapp spent his childhood living and sharing stories in Tanzania. Now, with his new book, Made For Love, readers can join him on his incredible life journey.

Few people can say they avoided charging elephants in the dead of night and climbed Mount Kilimanjaro. Fewer still can say they also found time to become a physician, a respected theologian, and raise a family of seven children. Dr. Knapp has done it all. Through firsthand accounts, he highlights the importance of approaching life with a sense of adventure.

"My book transports the reader into an African culture, allowing them to see the grace and love of God through new eyes," said Knapp. "We all go through hard times, and I hope I can offer encouragement to help those facing discouragement and defeat."

Knapp's easy writing style and keen insight into God's love and grace have made him popular as a Christian teacher and author. He frequently speaks at schools, churches, organizations and events.
