WHEELING, W. Va.

A teacher with over 35 years of experience, Diane Robbins observed that the arts are usually the first to be affected in budget cuts in school. With the release of her "Time Saving Art Projects for the Busy Teacher: Book 2," (published by Xlibris) she shows that art can still be a part of class and can be economical, fun and fuss-free.

The second installment in a two-part series, Robbins' new book is a collection of over 20 art projects complete with accompanying patterns, illustrations and instructions. It is unique from most other arts and craft books in that it makes use of the same patterns for all the projects.

Robbins has been using art activities to help her special needs students improve their eye-hand coordination skills, measurement skills and ability to follow directions. With this book, she hopes that other teachers will also be able to enrich their own classes.

Timely, "Time Saving Art Projects for the Busy Teacher: Book 2" is for busy teachers who want to keep promoting art and creativity in the classroom.
