After successfully straddling work in the day and attending college at night and on weekends, Dennis Machala, who is now retired, has completed this guidebook "A Different Look at the Business World": a first-hand account of achieving one's goals with a positive attitude, professionalism, and a constant eye on the big picture.

"There are a lot of books written about the business world authored by present or former business executives, and also college professors," Machala said when asked about the new book. "These books include theoretical concepts relating to the various business disciplines. My book is meant to compliment what these authors have to say from a different point of view."

Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Dennis Machala's experience differs from most in the sense that it approaches business from a street-smart point of view, combining the things learned in school with real-world experiences.

"I go beyond specific business related issues and discuss various concerns about the future to include certain political and social issues that affect the business world in negative ways," Machala went on to say. "This book is written in a low-key, easy to read, and non-condescending way that gives you, the up and coming business person, some things to think about.
