Deane May Zager and Diana Turner were two women with a dream. Pursuing that dream, they opened the first data processing center in Orange County, Calif., in 1962. Almost exclusively a man's world, the women stepped into their roles as business executives and built a booming business.

In "The Highest Rung of the Ladder: Achieving the American Dream" (published by Archway Publishing), Deane May Zager shares the story of her and Diana's unorthodox business adventures. "I wanted to share the adventures and experiences of my American Dream," Zager states.

With humorous anecdotes and the exploration of the power of friendship, "The Highest Rung of the Ladder" is a story of courage, adventure, trials and victories.

Zager hopes her and Diana's story is one that inspires and reaffirms that achieving the American dream is still possible.
