David D Plain's New Book Offers Unique View of Native History

Aboriginal historian and author David D Plain's new book "The Plains of Aamjiwnaang" (published by Trafford Publishing) is a sweeping history of the Chippewa of the Aamjiwnaang territory and their interactions with Europeans, focusing on four successive chiefs from 1685 to 1850.

"The Plains of Aamjiwnaang" contains native history never before collected into one source. David D. Plain is a member of the Aamjiwnaang First Nation and a grandson of Chief On The Plain. He holds both undergraduate and graduate degrees from Tyndale University College and Seminary in Toronto.
