Ordained minister and metaphysical healer, Cecelia May Brown tells the story of several teenagers and the dangers of bullying in her new novel, "Aroma Remembers: A Magical Tale of Spiritual Awakening" (published by Trafford Publishing).

"Aroma Remembers" follows the life of Aroma, a teenage girl living in Edensville - a fictional, modern town in America. Aroma's life is going well, until Justin enters the scene. Justin is handsome and attracts Aroma's interest. He also attracts the attention of Becka, a school bully, who starts bullying Aroma as an outlet for the pain in her personal life.

In order to deal with her bullying victimization, Aroma seeks out her friend, Felicity, who also acts as her spiritual guide. Will Aroma's attempts at getting in touch with her spiritual side be enough to overcome her bullying plight?

Brown hopes her book will open readers' eyes to the spiritual connection all people share.

"We are all connected to each other spiritually and energetically," Brown says, "so when you demean another you demean yourself."
