PUEBLO WEST, Colo.

An adolescent boy stands trial for the murder of his father and a physicist who sought answers to one of society's biggest arguments in the new fiction from author Bradley Dean, "Endless Possibilities" (published by Booktango).

Twelve-year-old Eric Thompson has no one. His father was killed, along with physicist Dr. Gregory Beck, while completing research on a theory regarding the dispute over science and religion. So, Eric sits perfectly still in a court room, staring off into space as a prosecutor portrays him as a cold-blooded, methodical killer. Despite analyses from several psychologists, Eric's past, present and future are punctuated by one giant question mark.

The only diagnosis psychologists have been able to agree on is that Eric suffers from psychosis and is routinely lost in a world far from reality. Now Eric's fate rests in the hands of the jurors and a psychiatrist named Danny Stechman.

"I wanted to write a unique story that could actually impact the reader and make a difference in his or her life, not just entertain them for a few days," Dean says. "I think it will be an incredible story of discovery for readers that will get them to dream and wonder what is beyond what they can see, touch or hear."

Dean says his book's aim is not to change the beliefs of readers, but to open their minds up to the "Endless Possibilities" life can provide.
