USA Today and New York Times bestselling author Jaci Burton, chats with HEA on her new release, HOPE BURNS.

On HOPE BURNS, she notes: "Hope Burns is the story of two people who were in love in high school, but broke up due to a traumatic event. Carter Richards stayed in Hope, but Molly Burnett left Hope after high school and hasn't been back since. Now that her sister is getting married, she's back and forced to face her past with Carter. And it's not just the old memories that haunt Molly and Carter, it's the realization that their feelings for each other still remain after all these years."

Jaci discusses how "plotlines just pop into my head when I'm in the shower.... maybe it's the shampoo I'm using. But for some reason, I'm getting a lot of great ideas there. I actually got the plotline to the entire second half of the current book I'm writing during one of my shower excursions..."

One of her favorite scenes in the book, according to Jaci, is, "Carter and Molly decorating Carter's house for Halloween."
