The importance of sound and effective estate planning has never been emphasized like it has been in Fifty Excuses (Not) To Do Bulletproof Estate Planning (published by Xlibris). Authored by Elain Andrews, JD, LTC, USAR (Ret.), a certified specialist in estate planning, this book allows individuals to properly manage their assets to avoid getting caught up in court proceedings over conservatorship.

From an expert planner comes a specifically designed route to keep readers' life out of the practically insurmountable control of the court. Andrews reaches out to those who do not have an estate plan - even to those who think they have one already - and informs them of the excuses people have not to do sound and effective, quality estate planning.

Andrews emphasizes the dangers of relying on various excuses not to start or have proper estate planning. "These excuses could hurt people more than they could imagine," she says. The bulletproof planning prepared by a duly qualified expert, in this book, is what she considers a critical aid if one wants to stay in control of his or her own person and assets.

"If you don't want a stranger to get control over you and all of your assets, then this book about the 50 most common excuses for not doing bulletproof estate planning is for you," Andrews adds. "This is not the kind of estate planning that you can get just anywhere."
