SAN DANIELE DEL FRIULI, Italy

Love conquers all in author Anita Marin's newest book, "Letteratura di un Amore: Un epistolario salvato" (published by AuthorHouse). Written in Italian, the book, which translates to "Literature of Love," recounts the true events of Marin's grandparents' courtship.

Set in Italy in 1928, "Letteratura di un Amore" follows two star-crossed lovers, Anita and Bruno. Their love is strong and passionate, but Anita is still a minor and her wealthy family disagrees with the affair.

The two lovers begin exchanging love letters as Italy falls into the Great Depression and is later swept up in the fascist movement. War and civil unrest block their path, but as World War II draws to a close, their love still remains as strong as ever.

"The book is a true love affair," says Marin, "and a glance at our battered Italian history."

To better connect readers with Anita and Bruno's story, Marin includes family photographs and snapshots of the original letters. She hopes her book will inspire readers to never give up on true love.
