Allen H. Brown has completed his second book "The Story of Pope Maria": a gripping and potent tale of one woman's journey to achieving the highest appointment in the Catholic Priesthood.

Brown penned his first book, "Constitution20xx", in 2013 at age 82. That is the story of youngsters surviving after a world cataclysmic event and learning to live together. The appendix to that novel contains the author's ideas for a new US. Constitution, like the one developed by the growing children in the novel. The author is currently writing his third novel, "The Elevator," which describes a descent into fifteen Levels of Hell. The author added levels to the nine Circles in Dante's immortal "Inferno" to describe the consequences of evils done with modern technology.

Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Allen H. Brown's poignant tale reminds the reader that change is part of reality. Certain inevitable events are sure to pass sooner or later. One of those inevitabilities that society must learn to embrace is the incline of women in the highest roles of leadership.

Pope Maria is the fictitious story of a female progressing through the ranks of the Catholic faith and eventually becoming Pope in the year 2100. At each step in her progression she is faced with issues that seem insurmountable at the time. Pope Maria's Encydicals cover all aspects of life and beliefs.

Unlike the medieval myth of a female, Joan, becoming Pope while dressed as a male, this is the story of a female progressing from childhood through the ranks of the Catholic faith, overcoming obstacles at each step, and eventually becoming Pope. Pink smoke at the Vatican, instead of the traditional white smoke, signifies the election of Maria as the new Supreme Pontiff of the Catholic Church.

Readers who wish to experience this gripping work can purchase "The Story of Pope Maria" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
