Alan Head, a retired financial executive, has completed his new book "On Both Sides of the Street": a gripping and potent real-life story about a man who achieves meteoric successes, only to have them come crashing down through a series of disasters.

Previously a financial executive for over twenty years, holder of a master's degree and certified public accountant; Alan Head has now been retired for about ten years. His true story goes a long way in explaining why. A truly unbelievable journey through life that has incredible ups, and mainly, downs, in a journey that isn't yet over and might end in a good way, or a bad way.

Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Alan Head's engrossing tale of both the ascent to great success, and the subsequent descent from it.

The story begins in the midst of this downward spiral and then reverts to a chronology of the man's life, beginning in his upbringing in East Tennessee, followed by a normal ascent into adulthood, where he seemingly could do no wrong. His journeys take him to virtually every part of America, Europe, and then ultimately Central America.

The story spans over fifty years and includes a strong dose of historical perspective, describing some of the most significant events of the last half century. It also includes some colorful descriptions of many parts of America, Europe, and finally the country of Belize. There are also sprinkled in some commentary on political, geopolitical, and macroeconomic issues of our time, seemingly tongue in cheek but actually not intended to be so.

Readers who wish to experience this enthralling work can purchase"On Both Sides of the Street" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
