Brill is proud to announce that ten Brill publications have made Choice magazine's 2014 list of Outstanding Academic Titles. Selected by Choice review editors, the awarded titles are representative of Brill's rich publishing programs in the Humanities, Social Sciences and Biology.

Out of over 7,000 reviews in Choice during the previous calendar year, only 10% are selected as "Outstanding Academic Titles" and published in the Choice January issue each year. The awarded titles represent the extraordinary scientific and scholarly quality in their respective discipline.

Choice is an important source for reviews of academic books, electronic media, and online resources of interest to those in higher education. Choice is a publication of Association of College & Research Libraries (ACRL) and a division of American Library Association (ALA).
