This theatre is in very upmarket west London (not to be confused with the downmarket west end). I'd suggest minimum dinner suit dress code for this one

I've seen productions at this theatre. It's in a nicer area than Soho, sure; but it's CERTAINLY not a pompous and stuffy place as this post suggests.
Dress respectfully but comfortably is what I'd say (as I would for any theatre regardless of location). Chinos and a shirt would be perfectly adequate.
This theatre actually sells standing room tickets for ten pence (yes, PENCE) an hour before its shows. Believe me - there won't be anyone in a dinner suit waiting in line for those places!
