I just saw her as Amanda in THE GLASS MENAGERIE here in Pittsburgh and thought she was amazing. I had heard her voice on the CLOSER THAN EVER cast album but had never seen her in anything or heard her in anything else.

Who else has seen her and loved her?

(P.S. That whole production is great if you're in the area before the end of the month)

She is one of my very favorite people I have ever had the privilege to work with. Just beyond nice.

I wish I could see her in Menagerie!

I saw her in the 1st National Tour of Sister Act (when Hollis was gone for a bit) and loved her. She was fantastic and so funny. I wish she did more mainstream theatre. She deserves more praise and recognition than she gets.

I saw the show this week. I agree - she was amazing. I loved everything about the show and second the recommendation.

I know this would be considered blasphemy, but I liked it better than the Cherry Jones production.

Saw her in Mother Jones at NYMTF and her performance was absolutely stunning. Great voice, phenomenal actress.

Her closing note in "Life Story" on the original cast recording is one of my ALL-TIME favorite moments ever. I had no idea there was a video of her singing the song until I found this today. Unfortunately, it cuts off the very second she finishes the song, but it's still wonderful to have this on video. The years melted away back to the original production as I watched this.

I saw her in the "pre-Broadway" production of The Night of the Hunter at the Willows Theatre in Concord, CA. Borderline terrible show, but she was great.

Heard her sing "Life Story" live a year or two ago, and her voice was as pristine as when she originated the song twenty-five years ago. You could close your eyes and think no time had passed.

"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe." -John Guare, Landscape of the Body

I also saw her in Mother Jones and the Children's Crusade at NYMF and she gave one of the best performances I've seen in years. Her voice and ability to put over a song are incomparable. I know they're still working on Mother Jones, so hopefully we'll get to see her on a NY stage soon!

I think she would have made a wonderful Mother in the original production of Ragtime. She was also up for Margaret in the tour of The Light in the Piazza (a role she later played in Utah).
