Voting has opened for the 2014 BroadwayWorld Baltimore Regional Awards, honoring productions which opened between October 2013 and September 2014. Nominations were reader-submitted and after the nomination period ended, BroadwayWorld's local editors proofed the list for eligibility and errors. Voting runs through December 31. Winners will be announced in early January!

When the nominees were originally announced, there were a number of computation errors that called into question the integrity of these awards. BroadwayWorld took these issues very seriously, and after some investigation, has taken steps to remedy the issues caused by these errors.

The current slate of nominees reflects all of the productions and performances that received the most nominations as of the original October 31st nomination deadline. However, due to the clerical error, an unedited list of nominees was originally announced on November 10th. Therefore, BroadwayWorld has retained additional nominees that received a certain percentage of the votes in their respective categories. Therefore, while some categories will have more nominees than others, we believe that this is the fairest way to move forward with the voting process.

If there are further issues or questions concerning the Baltimore Regional BWW Awards, please email BroadwayWorld Database Manager Matt Tamanini at matt@broadwayworld.com.
