Enjoy a free afternoon of music featuring students from Long Reach High School's music programs during the Howard County Arts Council's final fall ARTreach Courtyard Concert at Long Reach Village Center on December 11 from 5-7pm.

Under the direction of music faculty Christoffer Fyhr, June Pompei, and William String, Long Reach High School students have earned regional and national awards, performed in state and county ensembles, and traveled throughout the US. On December 11th, a number of Long Reach's talented students will stroll the village center and the Columbia Art Center galleries to perform holiday standards and newer works to celebrate the season.

Tickets are not required for this free, informal concert. Limited outdoor seating is available. The concert coincides withSingular Sensations, the Columbia Art Center's annual holiday show featuring artwork for sale at $150 or less. There will be a free opening reception in the gallery from 6 to 8 pm.

A free music series presented by Howard County Arts Council through a grant from Howard County, MD, ARTreach Courtyard Concerts invite members of the community to enjoy performances by local and regional musicians as they visit Long Reach Village Center shops and restaurants, explore the art center, or relax in the courtyard.
