Everyman Theatre has announced Alexandra Price as its new Director of Development.

Ms. Price has a deep passion for the cultural and artistic institutions that make Baltimore such a vibrant community. She earned her Bachelor's degree in English and American Literature and Language from Harvard University. After spending several years in her hometown of Washington, DC working, in part, at a wealth-management consulting firm, she came to Baltimore, where she has now lived for the past eleven years.

She has worked most recently at WYPR, Baltimore's NPR news station, where she began as Associate Development Director and Board Liaison and was then promoted to Director of Development. Additionally, Ms. Price has worked with the Maryland Film Festival as a Volunteer Coordinator and has taught at the Friends School of Baltimore and the Bryn Mawr School.

"I'm thrilled to be joining the Everyman team and I hope to capitalize on the great momentum of the theatre's recent move to its new building and increase charitable giving for the organization," Ms. Price said.

"Alexandra is an incredible asset to our staff," said Artistic Director Vincent Lancisi. "Her work at WYPR has honed her skills in fundraising, grant-writing and cultivating dynamic partnerships with individuals and area institutions. She will play a major role in the next phase of Everyman's development."

Everyman Theatre is supported by a grant from the Maryland State Arts Council, an agency dedicated to cultivating a vibrant cultural community where the arts thrive. An agency of the Department of Business & Economic Development, the MSAC provides financial support and technical assistance to non-profit organizations, units of government, colleges and universities for arts activities. Funding for the Maryland State Arts Council is also provided by the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.

Everyman Theatre is a proud member of the Bromo Tower Arts and Entertainment District.

Everyman Theatre is a professional Equity theatre company celebrating the actor, with a resident company of artists from the Baltimore/DC area. Founded in 1990 by Vincent Lancisi, the theatre is dedicated to engaging the audience through a shared experience between actor and audience seeking connection and emotional truth in performance. Everyman is committed to presenting high quality plays that are affordable and accessible to everyone.

Vincent Lancisi is the Artistic Director of Everyman Theatre; Ian Tresselt is the Managing Director.
