Dundalk Community Theatre kicks off its season with a 1950s flair. For two nights only (September 24 & 25), DCT will hold its annual fundraiser featuring the musical Forever Plaid. This story of a clean-cut "guy singing group" will make you laugh and cheer for them as they attempt to perform the concert they never got to do in real life. Individual tickets are $23 adults, $20 senior adults and $15 for students/DCT Actors/Children 12 & under.

Forever Plaid is a musical tribute to the 1950s. The story is about four high-school chums who had a dream of becoming as big as The Four Aces, The Four Freshmen, or even The Beatles. However, their dreams were crushed when they died in an accident on the way to perform their first big concert. Now, present day, they are transported back on stage to give the performance of a life time. Stranded on stage with faded memories and old song charts, can they pull of a hit show and fulfill their life's dream?

The show is not only funny, with touching characters, but is packed with great songs and harmony. The show features songs such as "Three Coins in the Fountain", "Undecided", "Crazy 'bout Ya, Baby", "Moments to Remember", "Gotta Be This or That", "No, Not Much", "Sixteen Tons", "Chain Gang", "Perfidia", "Cry", "Heart and Soul", "Love is a Many-Splendored Thing", and a three minute tribute to The Ed Sullivan Show, during "Lady of Spain", where the cast acts out some of the most memorable moments featured on the show.

The Cast: Ryan Slattery as Sparky, Josh Schoff as Francis, Nathan Beyer as Smudge and Connor Moore as Jinx. Director: James Hunnicutt, Choreographer Gigi Causey, Musical Direction Patty Delisle and Technical Design by Marc Smith.

Show times are 8 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday September 24 & 25, only, in the John E. Ravekes Theatre, K Building, CCBC 7200 Sollers Point Road, Dundalk.
