"Neighborhood 3: Requisition of Doom" is an original work by Jennifer Haley, a Los Angeles playwright whose work delves into ethics in virtual reality and the impact of technology on our human relationships, identity, and desire. This play focuses on a suburban subdivision with identical houses, where parents find their teenagers addicted to an online horror video game. The game setting? A subdivision with identical houses. The goal? Smash through an army of zombies to escape the neighborhood for good. But as the line blurs between virtual and reality, both parents and players realize that fear has a life of its own.

CCBC's student ensemble cast features Mason Kennedy (Jared) and Tierra Stone (Vicki) of Baltimore City, Md., Charles Gearhart (Trevor, Tobias) of Catonsville, Md., Shelton Hall (Doug) and Elizabeth Tybush (Leslie, Madison, Joy) of Owings Mills, Md., Tony Oliver (Barbara, Kaitlyn) of Randallstown, Md., Aris Hines (Ryan) of Reisterstown, Md., Paris Kyle (Makaela, Chelsea) of Windsor Mill, Md. and Zachary Smith (Zomhiekillr14).

This CCBC Catonsville Academic Theatre production is directed by CCBC Theatre professor Julie Lewis. Other production staff includes: G. Maurice "Moe" Conn (scenic/lighting design/technical direction), Brad J. Ranno (Sound design), James J. Fasching (Costume design), Teresa Spencer (Movement consultant), Jessica Matthews (Stage Manager) and Randi Superseed (Assistant Director). Anne Lefter, director of Performing Arts at CCBC, served as the production coordinator.

Fear has a new address.
