Rachel Spiar

Rachel Spiar Rachel's training as a “professional patron of the arts” began at age three when her parents bucked conventional wisdom and took a toddler to see her first show, the Broadway tour of Barnum. With its dazzling stunts, circus-inspired music, and larger-than-life-story, Rachel was hooked. She encountered symphony soon after, and both music and theatre have been central to her life ever since. Although her clarinet-playing days are behind her, classical music still fills her world. Whether at work or play, chances are she's bobbing her head to music playing in the background. Or, of course, she might be in the theatre. Rachel is grateful for the opportunity to have her own small soapbox in the large world of Toronto’s performing arts community.
