According to People.com, 84 year old Andy Williams, performer extraordinaire, passed away yesterday morning in his Branson, MO. home. His family announced that he was a victim of his fight with bladder cancer.

The Ringwald and Olympia Entertainment are thrilled to be bringing the EVIL DEAD: THE MUSICAL to Detroit for its third annual engagement. In honor of the world premiere in October 1981, the musical will perform a four week engagement starting Thursday, October 4th through Saturday, October 27th at 8 pm. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at Detroit's City Theatre.

Tribeca Film has acquired North American rights to award-winning thriller No Rest for the Wicked (No habra paz para los malvados), which is currently screening as part of Fantastic Fest in Austin. The film was the big winner at the most recent Goya Awards. Tribeca Film plans a December release for the film.
