Lauren Allison

Lauren Allison Lauren Lester Allison is a writer, lawyer, director, and enthusiast for the creative arts in Tulsa, Oklahoma. A graduate of Broken Arrow High School in 2000, Lauren completed her undergraduate studies at The University of Tulsa as part of the Accelerated Law Honors program, earning her B.A. in Law and Society (Political Science) with honors in 2003. Following her graduation, she received automatic admission to The University of Tulsa College of Law, earning her J.D. in 2006. In 2012, Lauren earned her Certificate in Revenue Management from Cornell University. During her law practice, she has proudly served her profession and community as twice-elected President of the Creek County Bar Association, the Creek County Delegate to the Oklahoma Board of Governors, the Oklahoma Bar Association Leadership Academy, the Oklahoma Bar Association Long-Range Planning Committee, the Bristow Lions Club, the Bristow Professional Women’s Club, the Bristow Chamber of Commerce, and the Bristow Cemetery Board. Lauren and her husband, Joshua, make their home on a farm in Bristow, Oklahoma, located just outside the Tulsa community, where Lauren serves as the attorney-coach of the Bristow High School Mock Trial Team and community theatre director for Bristow High School. Her husband, Joshua, designs and constructs all of the sets for her productions. This past spring, Lauren proudly directed the Bristow High School Theatre Production of Steel Magnolias at the Freeland Center for the Performing Arts, and she has committed to direct two additional productions, Much Ado About Nothing and Our Town, for Bristow High School during the 2014-2015 academic year. As a recipient of a theatre scholarship to The University of Tulsa, Lauren remains deeply committed to theatre arts as an avenue for education and expression, particularly for young people in Oklahoma.
