Kerry Butler and Cheyenne Jackson will join the cast of
Broadway's hit musical Xanadu at a
special Valentine's Day performance on Thursday, February 14 on the Main Floor
at Macy's Herald Square, Broadway and 34th Streets. The performance will take
place at 6PM and following, Butler
and Jackson will autograph photos for their many fans and friends.
For any $100 fine jewelry, watch, fragrance or cosmetics
purchase, a pair of tickets to see the musical will be given out (while supply lasts).
"Taking audiences
back to 1980 California,
this hilarious new musical follows the beautiful Kira, who travels to earth to
inspire a struggling young artist named Sonny. A vision in leg warmers and
wind- swept hair, she helps this hunky painter find his voice, discover true
love and build the world's first roller disco (not necessarily in that
order)," explain press notes.
XANADU Closing Date Moved Up; Show to Close Sunday XANADU, Broadway's surprise musical hit, has moved up the date of its closing to Sunday, September 28. The show is playing at the Helen Hayes Theatre, 240 West 44th Street.
Stanley and Von Essen to Star in Xanadu Tour Casting is announced for the anticipated Chicago and Midwest premiere of the surprise hit Broadway musical XANADU at the Drury Lane Theatre Water Tower Place. Performances are scheduled to begin January 16, 2009 and individual tickets are now on sale.
XANADU To Skate Off Broadway On October 12th XANADU, Broadway's surprise musical hit, has announced a closing date of Sunday, October 12. The show is playing at the Helen Hayes Theatre, 240 West 44th Street and will have played 49 previews and 528 performances.
