Philadelphia Theatre Company announces that Tony Award-winning Walter Bobbie is taking over the direction of Golden Age at The Kennedy Center, running March 12 - April 4. Bobbie, who is currently represented in New York City with the Off-Broadway hit by David Ives Venus in Fur, will replace Austin Pendleton.

"We are very excited that the Kennedy Center will be presenting the PTC production of Golden Age," said Sara Garonzik, PTC's Producing Artistic Director. "It is a pleasure to be working with Walter Bobbie who also directed our world premiere production of Jeffrey Hatcher's Compleat Female Stage Beauty."

Golden Age again features the PTC ensemble cast of Rebecca Brooksher, Jeffrey Carlson, Roe Hartrampf, Marc Kudisch, Hoon Lee, Christopher Michael McFarland, George Morfogen, and Amanda Mason Warren. Benjamin Cook, a Washington, DC-area student who appeared in The Kennedy Center production of Ragtime will join the cast at the Kennedy Center in the role of the Page. The design team includes set designer Santo Loquasto, costume designer Richard St. Clair, lighting designer Jason Lyons, and sound designer Ryan Rumery.
