Tina Fey stopped by last night's Late Show with David Letterman on CBS to promote her new movie Admission. After the host complimented her performance as co-host of the Golden Globe Awards, he asked if she and Amy Poehler might consider reteaming for The Academy Awards as well. The 30 Rock creator replied, "I don't think so. I'll tell you what - for a woman, just the amount of dresses you would have to try on... It's a dealbreaker. I'm out." The idea that the 'Admission' star be featured as host of next year's awards show was even suggested during the opening number of this year's telecast. In a hilarious bit, William Shatner, who returned from the future as the iconic Captain Kirk, lamented to Seth MacFarlane, "Why can't they get Tina and Amy to host?". When asked about the reference on Sunday's show Fey replied, "It's an honor to be Shatnered."

Earlier this week, MacFarlane also closed the door on the idea of hosting the Oscars next year, tweeting "No way. Lotta fun to have done it though."

Tina Fey recently ended her long run as creator and star of NBC's 30 Rock. She will next be seen on the big screen opposite Paul Rudd in the new comedy Admission, opening on March 22.
