A highly emotional Jane Lynch stopped by last night's TONIGHT SHOW WITH Jay Leno on NBC to talk about her late Glee co-star Cory Monteith.

"Cory has one of the biggest hearts and was a real birght light," she shared. "You know he knew he was breathing rarified air - the gifts that this wonderful show gave us, and he was always aware that it was a gift." Check out her appearance below.

Monteith was found dead in his Vancouver hotel room on Saturday, July 13th as a result of an accidental drug overdose. Lynch co-starred with the actor on Fox's Glee, portraying manipulative cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester.

The actress will continue on as a series regular when the show returns for its fifth season this September. She currently hosts NBC's new series, 'Hollywood Game Night' and has just completed her run as 'Miss Hannigan' in the Broadway revival of ANNIE.
