Anne Hathaway, Darren Criss, Jennifer Garner and many more A-list celebrities joined forces with the U.S. government to launch 'Let Girls Learn, an initiative whose goal is to provide a quality education to young women around the world.

The stars are featured in a new public service announcement released today which shines a light on the atrocities taking place against young woman around the globe.

The video was organized by the U.S. Agency for International Development, which will also contribute $231.6 million to set up educational programs in Nigeria, Afghanistan, South Sudan, Jordan and Guatemala.

"All girls should have the freedom to learn" says James Van Der Beek in the PSA, while Hathaway adds, "It's time to unlock their potential."
