Up on the Marquee: DEAR EVAN HANSEN

The Broadway premiere of the new musical Dear Evan Hansen will play the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th St), beginning previews on November 14, 2016, with an official opening night on December 4, 2016. Scroll down for a look at the marquee!

With a book by Obie Award-winner Steven Levenson, score by Tony Award nominees Benj Pasek & Justin Paul, and direction by three-time Tony Award nominee Michael Greif, Dear Evan Hansen had its world premiere at Arena Stage, Washington D.C., this past summer and recently concluded its record-breaking New York debut at Off-Broadway's Second Stage.

Ben Platt, who led the world and New York premieres of the musical, will once again star as Evan Hansen, a performance for which he recently won the 2016 Obie Award and earned nominations from the Drama League and Outer Critics Circle Awards. Platt will be joined by Laura Dreyfuss, Rachel Bay Jones, Jennifer Laura Thompson, Mike Faist, Michael Park, Will Roland and Kristolyn Lloyd.
