Tony Winner Steve Kazee Joins Cast of Showtime's SHAMELESS in 'Major' Recurring Role

Deadline reports that Tony Award winner Steve Kazee has joined the cast of Showtime's hit dramedy series SHAMELESS in what is described as a "major recurring role."

The 'Once' star will portray "a rock musician in an existing band who will interact with Fiona (Emmy Rossum) and her family at the new diner where she has found new employment."

In addition to winning the Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical and the 2013 Grammy for Musical Theater Album for Once, Steve Kazee has appeared on Broadway in Monty Python's Spamalot as Sir Lancelot, Starbuck opposite Audra McDonald in the Roundabout's 110 in the Shade, To Be or Not to Be at MTC, Edward Albee's Seascape. Regional credits include The Subject Was Roses (Kennedy Center, Helen Hayes Award nomination for Best Actor alongside Bill Pullman and Judith Ivey). Off-Broadway: As You Like It (NYSF).

On TV he has appeared in "Working Class" opposite Melissa Peterman, "100 Questions" (NBC), "CSI" (CBS), "NCIS" (CBS), "Numb3rs" (CBS), "Medium" (NBC), "Conviction" (NBC). He most recently co-starred in the ABC drama pilot Warriors
