On August 2nd, The Lion King star Sello Maake Ka-Ncube will return to South African television in E.TV's "Scandal," according to Variety.

His appearance on the newsroom drama will mark the first time in five years that Ka-Ncube has been seen on South African TV.

The actor, who played Mufasa in the West End's The Lion King, now stars in the Disney stage musical in his native country.  The Lion King opened at Johannesburg's Montecasino Theater on June 5th.  Ka-Ncube also played Archie Moroka in SABC1's soap opera "Generations."  Other credits include Othello: A South African Tale, "Bridge of Time," Bopha! and Dark City.
