Producers have just announced via Twitter that Scott Alan and Christy Hall's 'Home' will open in London's West End next year. The production will feature direction by Stafford Arima and will be produced by Amzi Entertainment and Julian Stoneman. Additional details have not yet been announced.

In the musical, having moved away from her place of birth in a small Texas town, Katherine returns home, nine years later, to confront her childhood, her mother, and most importantly, herself. Home celebrates the complex bond between mother and daughter and reveals how a fragile past can be brought back to life with forgiveness and understanding.

A New York City reading was held in June 2013, led by Diane Ladd (Wendy), Betsy Wolfe (Katherine), and Allie Trimm (Kat).
