Sandra Bernhard Starts Joe's Pub Run 12/26

Actress, comedienne, author, singer and provocateur Sandra Bernhard promises plenty of holiday "cheer" as she begins her limited run at Joe's Pub tonight, Friday December 26th at 9:30PM.

"Sandra Bernhard, hot off her critically acclaimed smash hit off-Broadway show (Everything Bad and Beautiful), is priming her hysterical insight, outspoken views and outrageous mouth to ring in the New Year. Sandra's brilliant unity of hilarious diatribes on the state of modern culture and classic rock attitude burns smart. Sandra's show is fresh, crazy and real. She inspires and invigorates. With her band, The Rebellious Jezebels, she still has all the raucous energy of youth, bringing audiences to their feet," state Joe's Pub notes.

Bernhard has also starred on Broadway in her show I'm Still Here...Damn It as well as Without You I'm Nothing and Excuses for Bad Behavior. On the big screen, she has been seen in The King of Comedy, Somewhere in the City, Inside Monkey Zetterland, Hudson Hawk and Track 29. Television roles have included "Crossing Jordan", "The L Word" (extended guest role), "Law & Order SUV," "Ally McBeal," "Chicago Hope," "The Sopranos" and "Will & Grace." She has also hosted her own talk show, "The Sandra Bernhard Experience" on A&E. Her books include: Confessions of a Pretty Lady, Love, Love and Love, and May I Kiss you on the Lips, Miss Sandra?.
