Sex Tips for Straight Women from a Gay Man, the hit comedy written by Matt Murphy, based on the best-selling book by Dan Anderson and Maggie Berman, is making a stop in Milwaukee at the Marcus Center's Wilson Theater at Vogel Hall for two nights only on Thursday, April 30 and Friday, May 1.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, February 20 at 12:00 pm at the Marcus Center Box Office. Tickets can be purchased in person at 929 North Water Street, by phone at 414-273-7206 or online at Ticketmaster.com. Groups 10 or more can SAVE and should call Group Sales at 414-273-7121 ext. 210.

Sex Tips for Straight Women from a Gay Man takes the audience on a hilarious and wild ride where no topic is taboo and the insider 'tips' come straight from the source: a gay man.

Directed by Tim Drucker, Sex Tips began performances on January 22, 2014 and opened on February 9, 2014.

Sex Tips for Straight Women from a Gay Man, written by Dan Anderson and Maggie Berman and published in 1997, championed the straight girl/gay guy friendship in mainstream pop culture and instantly became a national best-seller. Now a cult classic, the book has also been published in Germany, Japan, Taiwan, Brazil, the Netherlands, Australia, England, and France.

Presented by Matt Murphy and Shawn Nightingale, Sex Tips for Straight Women from a Gay Man has scenic design by Luke Cantarella, costume design by Tilly Grimes, lighting design by Brian Tovar, and video and sound design by Randy Blair.

MATT MURPHY (Playwright/Producer) most recently produced the critically-acclaimed musical Side Show on Broadway; with other recent productions including the Tony Award-winning musical Memphis; Thurgood, starring Laurence Fishburne; Impressionism, starring Joan Allen and Jeremy Irons; and the Off-Broadway hit Altar Boyz. Matt is also currently producing New York's latest hit family musical The Berenstain Bears LIVE!, now in its third year Off-Broadway, and Virtually Me!, which was recently profiled on Fox News and My9 News for its efforts to educate students about the increasingly challenging issue of cyber-bullying. www.MattMurphyProductions.com.

TIM DRUCKER (Director). Credits as a director include the Off-Broadway productions of Spidermusical (Mint Theater), Stinkykids! (Vital Theater, Off-B'way Alliance Award - Best Family Musical), as well as The Brain that Wouldn't Die! (NYMF), and Grace McLean Lives in Concert (Ars Nova). SHAWN NIGHTINGALE (Producer) is a native of Cape Cod who grew up around theatre in Provincetown, MA. He has produced and worked with Whoopi Goldberg, Lainie Kazan, John Waters, Margaret Cho, Paula Poundstone, Taylor Dayne, Bruce Vilanch, and the Tony Award winning Elaine Stritch (At Liberty). In addition to his work in live entertainment, Shawn has produced and starred in the short film The Appointment and P-Town the series. Shawn owns a consulting business and is on the board of directors for numerous non-profit companies as a business advisor. This is Shawn's first foray into Off-Broadway producing in NY.
