[title of show] opened the 2008-09 theatre season with its own brand of fireworks and hilarity for its first preview performance on July 5, 2008. [title of show] is written by Jeff Bowen and Hunter Bell and is directed by Michael Berresse. [title of show] on Broadway will star the musical's original cast -- Jeff Bowen,Hunter Bell, Susan Blackwell,Heidi Blickenstaff and musical director Larry Pressgrove.

The show is produced on Broadway by Kevin McCollum and Jeffrey Seller (AVENUE Q, In The Heights, RENT), Laura Camien, Roy Miller,Kris Stewart and The Vineyard Theatre, where [title of show] had its Off-Broadway debut.

[title of show] takes a thoroughly unique and comical look at the pleasures and perils of the artistic process as two struggling writers and two struggling actresses take on the seemingly impossible task of creating a new musical about creating a new musical. Now with Broadway as their destination, the quartet's saga continues anew as they face mounting pressures and deadlines, and are nearly thrown off-track by disagreements, day jobs and insecurities in this funny and unforgettable look at the birth of a musical as it finally comes to life on the Great White Way.

[title of show] will perform Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 8:00pm; Saturdays at 3:00pm & 8:00pm; and Sundays at 3:00pm & 7:00pm (Wednesdays are dark) at the Lyceum Theatre (149 West 45th Street) on Broadway. Tickets are priced $101.50 - $51.50 - 26.50 to all performances, excluding Saturday matinee and evening performances which are priced $111.50 - $61.50 - 36.50, and until the Lyceum box office opens on June 14th can be purchased exclusively through Tele-charge at 212-239-6200, or on-line at www.telecharge.com.
