Jim Caruso's Cast Party in association with producer Andy Sandberg presented WING AT BIRDLAND, a one night only presentation of the international recording and internet sensation at New York's premier concert venue. The stars came out to cheer her on, including Gossip Girl stars Blake Lively and Penn Badgley, Michael Feinstein, Brent Barrett, actor Max Minghella and RENT stage and film star Justin Johnston. We made sure we were there too, after all, Wing has been a hit on the BWW boards for years!

The Hong Kong native and "Asian sensation" made her New York debut (only her second U.S. appearance) as part of the Broadway at Birdland series on October 20th.

Wing achieved cult status through her unique vocal stylings, mastering hit songs by Andrew Lloyd Webber, ABBA, the Beatles, Elvis Presley, Rodgers & Hammerstein, Mariah Carey, AC/DC, and so many more! With millions of fans worldwide, she has taken the globe by storm. Wing has been compared to Florence Foster Jenkins, who raised alternative singing into an art form. Before "American Idol" even hit the air, Wing was already a global phenomenon, outshining the success of Idol star William Hung and putting Clay Aiken to shame with her sixteen-hit CDs.

Recently, she was immortalized with her very own episode of "South Park," the animated sensation.

Recently featured on NY1, BROADWAY AT BIRDLAND was created by acclaimed performer, writer, producer & presenter Jim Caruso. BROADWAY AT BIRDLAND is a weekly concert series on Sunday and Monday evenings, showcasing legendary Broadway performers and composers, as well as up-and-coming musical theater talents. The series started as a companion piece to the hugely popular and hilarious weekly impromptu variety show Jim Caruso's Cast Party (which follows Mondays at 9:30pm).
