Photo Coverage: The Creative Coalition Visits The Color Purple

The Creative Coalition Co-Presidents Tony Goldwyn and Joe Pantoliano, Cindy Adams, RoccoDiSpirito, Matthew Modine, Bob Balaban participated in a special evening on Broadway hosted by the cast and the producers of The Color Purple on November 16th at Victor's Cafe.

Attending the event were The Creative Coalition's Cindy Adams, Rocco DiSpirito, Bob Balaban, and Stephen Baldwin, Christopher Meloni, Matthew Modine, Ally Sheedy, Kate Mulgrew, Cady Huffman, and cast members of The Color Purple. Starring LaChanze, The Color Purple, which is currently in previews, opens on December 1st.

Ben Strothmann Ben Strothmann has been a portrait and theatrical photographer since 1995. Since building his first darkroom in his hometown of Milwaukee WI, his portrait studio now looks out over Manhattan where he shoots headshots and production photos. Born to a famous cheesecake lady (Suzy Strothmann of Suzy's Cream Cheesecakes), Ben is also an actor and pianist. Currently he lives in Astoria and studies guitar and Icelandic. Ben is also a volunteer for The Heart Gallery (heartgallerynyc.org) and helps NYC foster children find permanent, loving families.
