On November 27, 2007, Academy Award-nominated actor Chazz Palminteri, currently starring in A Bronx Tale (though performances have been closed during the strike) revealed his very own portrait at theatre district hangout, Tony's DiNapoli Times Square. The portrait was created by artist Daniel May. Radio personality Valerie Smaldone hosted the event.

Chazz Palminteri made his Broadway debut in A Bronx Tale, directed by Tony Award-winner Jerry Zaks. Opening night was Thursday October 25 at The Walter Kerr Theatre (219 West 48th Street), his one-man show will play a limited 18 week engagement through February 10, 2008.

A Bronx Tale was first mounted off-Broadway in 1989 and helped establish Palminteri as a writer and actor with a distinct voice.  "In A Bronx Tale, Palminteri brings 18 characters to vivid life, depicting a rough childhood on Bronx streets populated by a cast of friends and enemies," state press notes.
