Norm Lewis Joins O'Donnell's LOVE ROCKS! Benefit, 2/11; Cortney Wolfson Cancels

As previously reported, LOVE ROCKS! an intimate cabaret featuring some of Broadway's Best to benefit Rosie's Broadway Kids will perform at Maravel Arts Center on February 11, 2010. Just announced was the addition of Broadway star Norm Lewis to the celebration, in place of Cortney Wolfson who has had to cancel.  Autumn Hurlbert (Legally Blonde)

The line up of performers now includes: Liz McCartney (South Pacific, Mamma Mia, Taboo), Bret Shuford (The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast), Sharon Wheatley (Avenue Q, Cats, The Phatom of the Opera), and Norm Lewis (Sondheim on Sondheim, Les Miserables, The Little Mermaid).

The concert will be musical directed by Steven Jamail and produced/hosted by Colin Sheehan.

Every ticket purchased includes a tour of school and pre-show reception at 7:000pm, wine, and performance at 7:30p. $50 tickets can be reserved by calling - (646) 434-2774. Proceeds will benefit Rosie's Broadway Kids. The Maravel Arts Center is located at 445 W. 45th St. NY. 

Rosie's Broadway Kids (RBKids) is a non-profit arts education organization dedicated to enriching the lives of children through the arts. Using professional teaching artists, RBKids offers classes in dance, music and drama and a professional theater experience for children who might otherwise
not have the opportunity. Its goal is to inspire excellence, motivate learning, uplift the human spirit, and to instill a lifelong appreciation for the arts. 

Founded in 2003, Rosie's Broadway Kids began with a pilot project at one school with 30 students and has expanded to serving almost 2000 low-income New York City public school students annually with its in-school and after-school musical theater programs.
