Nettles Arts Collective is presenting an Audition Skills Workshop on 9/27 from 2pm-6pm.

Summer is over and castings are upon us, what better tool to sharpen then how you
PACKAGE AND PRESENT YOURSELF!

Join us for this usefull and practical workshop and learn some fresh new skills to improve your audition performance. You only get one chance... be prepared!
* Are you aware of how you are perceived in the audition room?
* Can you be yourself? Or, do nerves take over?
* Do you have a solid and consistent way of warming up and preparing for auditions?
* How good are your audition pieces? Do you feel confident in your choices? Do they fit YOU? Have you made clear, specific choices in your acting?

All of these questions will be answered with useful tools you can apply on your own.
Everyone will work - including monologues work - and everyone will walk out feeling more confident about who they are as an artist and how to make that come across.

LUCK IS WHEN PREPARATION MEETS OPPORTUNITY!
Class size is small to allow everyone to work on breath, alignment, movement and individual monologues.

The workshop is bed by:

Sandie Luna is and actress, director and producer. She is a member of the Director's Lab at IATI Theater, has been a cast member of the off-Bdwy hit Platanos & Collard Greens for the last four years, has directed a one-woman show with residency at Mabou Mines, and she is currently part of the Bauhaus cast with the Brooklyn Lyceum resident company: Nerve Tank.

Debora Balardini has been acting and dancing for over twenty years and is currently one of the physical theatre trainers for the East 3rd Ensemble. Along with developing a new solo show, she is also an avid researcher of body and movement for actors.

Both Sandie and Debora will be leading workshops with Teatro IATI this coming September 26th in downtown Manhattan and they also produce the annual PanNYC Workshop where legendary artists Enrique Pardo and Linda Wise, from Pantheatre-Paris, conduct training for NY actors on Roy Hart Technique and Choreographic Theatre.
