"Hollywood Game Night" is heading to Thursday nights after the Olympics. The Jane Lynch-hosted game show will assume the Thursday, 9:00/8:00c hour beginning February 27, network sources confirmed to the site this afternoon.

"Game Night" replaces freshman comedies "Sean Saves the World" and "The Michael J. FOX Show," both of which still have episodes yet to air.

"Sean" received a de facto cancellation after production was halted last week while "Fox" wrapped filming on its 22-episode order in December. It's not clear when - or if - their remaining installments will air.

"Hollywood Game Night's" adults 18-49 average (1.713 million viewers through six originals) actually fares better than all of the Peacock's Thursday comedies thus far this season:

1.530 million adults 18-49 - "Parks & Recreation" (13 episodes)
1.529 million adults 18-49 - "Community" (6 episodes)
1.474 million adults 18-49 - "The Michael J. FOX Show" (15 episodes)
1.296 million adults 18-49 - "Sean Saves the World" (13 episodes)
1.183 million adults 18-49 - "Welcome to the Family" (3 episodes)

About the show:

Celebrities such as Sean Hayes, Don Cheadle, Olivia Wilde, Taraji P. Henson, Kaley Cuoco, Jason Sudeikis, Julie Bowen, Lester Holt, Christina Applegate and many more will join in the fun as they Face Off in hilarious party games.

In the series, two contestants are transported from their everyday lives into a once-in-a-lifetime night of fun and celebration as they step beyond the velvet rope and rub shoulders with some of their favorite celebrities and compete for the chance to win up to $25,000.

"Hollywood Game Night," hosted by Emmy Award and Golden Globe winner Jane Lynch, is produced by Hazy Mills Productions ("Grimm," "Sean Saves the World," "Hot in Cleveland"), Mission Control Media (Syfy's "Face Off") and Universal Television. Sean Hayes, Todd Milliner, Michael Agbabian and Dwight D. Smith are executive producers.
