Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus' global smash hit Mamma Mia!, the world's most successful musical written, produced and directed by women, is once again behind this year's Breast Cancer Awareness month.  The exclusive Mamma Mia! "Rock Chick Supremo" T-shirt plays a leading role in supporting The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) and now 'Dancing Queens' everywhere can purchase a memento from the hit show and also raise 'Money Money Money' with profits going directly to BCRF.

Mamma Mia!'s popular "Rock Chick Supremo" T-shirt, specially designed by producer Judy Craymer to support The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, first went on sale in October 2002 in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The T-shirt continues to be the most popular item on sale at theatres in the U.S., London and around the world.

The Mamma Mia! "Rock Chick Supremo" T-shirt can be purchased at the merchandise stations of all theaters in the US where the smash hit musical is currently playing or by visiting www.mamma-mia.com.

Proceeds from sales after production costs, go directly to the deserving and highly relevant cause. Over 30,000 T-shirts have been purchased in North America alone. Mamma Mia! globally has contributed a total of over $500,000 to breast cancer charities around the world including BCRF, which the show has supported for the last several years.

"Inspired by the story-telling magic of ABBA's timeless songs, writer Catherine Johnson's sunny, funny tale of family and friendship unfolds on a Greek island.  On the eve of her wedding, a daughter's quest to discover the identity of her father brings 3 men from her mother's past back to the island they last visited 20 years ago.  Songs including 'Dancing Queen'; 'The Winner Takes It All'; 'Money, Money, Money' and 'Take A Chance on Me' are all featured in this feel-good night of fun and laughter," explain press notes.

There are currently 7 productions of Mamma Mia! running around the world (5 resident productions and 2 tours). With a worldwide gross of over $2 Billion and audiences of more than 30 million people.

The Breast Cancer Research Foundation was founded in 1993 by Evelyn H. Lauder as an independent, not-for-profit 501(c) (3) organization dedicated to funding innovative clinical and genetic research.  The Foundation supports scientists at leading medical centers worldwide whose research is focused on achieving prevention and a cure for breast cancer in our lifetime.  A minimum of 85 cents of each dollar donated to the Foundation goes directly to breast cancer research and awareness programs.

In October 2007, $32 million will be awarded to more than 150 researchers across the U.S. and in Canada, Latin America, the Middle East, and throughout Europe. Money magazine named BCRF one of America's eight top charities. And for the sixth consecutive year, BCRF received Charity Navigator's highest rating, four stars, thus outperforming most other charities in America. Since its inception in 1993, BCRF has raised $180 million and has raised $35 million in fiscal year 2007 alone to support clinical and genetic research at medical institutions across the globe aiming to prevent cancer and find a cure in our lifetime. BCRF supports The Royal Marsden Hospital and Institute Cancer Research.
