On May 24th at 7 p.m. the Maryland Ensemble Theatre (MET) will present The Last Hurrah's Graduation Show. This week the show will take a satirical look at graduations from the commencement address to the overuse of Pomp and Circumstance. Caps and Gowns will be made available for much more than they're worth but no one will question the investment because admission is free!

The Last Hurrah is a part of the Maryland Ensemble Theatre's MET-X series. MET-X programming, usually self-produced by Ensemble Members, is created outside of MET's Mainstage season and expands the collective horizons of the Ensemble and its audience. The Last Hurrah aims to bring free comedy to Frederick every Sunday at 7 p.m. at the Maryland Ensemble Theatre (31 W. Patrick St., Frederick) located in the historic FSK Hotel. Admission is free. Every episode of The Last Hurrah is recorded and released as a podcast on iTunes the following day.

Maryland Ensemble Theatre produces thought-provoking theatre, fun family entertainment, artist residency programs for public schools, theatre camps, challenging classes and sidesplitting comedy.
