MARY POPPINS continues to fly high, celebrating three magical years on Broadway, tonight, Monday, November 16.

Among Broadway's top-grossing shows, MARY POPPINS has played over 1275 performances since its official opening at the New Amsterdam Theatre on November 16, 2006 (previews began October 14). MARY POPPINS has been seen by two million theatergoers and grossed over $ 159 million to date, recouping its initial Broadway investment within 52 weeks of its premiere.

MARY POPPINS recently welcomed the West End's original ‘Mary', Olivier Award winner Laura Michelle Kelly and Tony® Award nominee Christian Borle to the cast as Mary and Bert respectively.

A co-production by Disney and Cameron Mackintosh, this stage production is based on P.L. Travers' cherished stories and the classic 1964 Walt Disney film and includes the film's Academy Award®-winning music and lyrics by Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman. MARY POPPINS was created, in collaboration with Cameron Mackintosh, by Academy Award®-winning screenwriter Julian Fellowes, who wrote the book; Olivier Award-winning director Richard Eyre; and the Olivier Award-winning team of George Stiles and Anthony Drewe, who composed new songs and additional music and lyrics.

MARY POPPINS performs at the New Amsterdam Theatre (214 West 42nd Street, NYC). For tickets, show information and performance schedules, call Ticketmaster's Disney on Broadway hotline at 866-870-2717, or visit online, DisneyonBroadway.com.
