Countless animal species are extinct due to humanity's constant encroachment on their habitats.

Examples of such species are the enigmatic dodo which were hunted to extinction during the 19th century and the Bali Tigers who were hunted down due to their beautiful pelts. In "Looking for Lough Ine" author Kieran McCarthy has written a truly engrossing read that shows what would happen if animals rebelled against humanity's oppression.

"Looking for Lough Ine" is a fantasy adventure created by long time nature lover and author Kieran McCarthy. This highly enthralling read follows the adventures of Dreamer the Fox, Victor the Badger and Rush the Hare. This motley crew of would-be animal heroes go on a dangerous mission to save animal kind from humanity's constant encroachment on their habitats. This well-written story captures the conflict between nature and the reckless modernization that threatens its existence.

This impressive combination of humorous and heroic characters gives kids great models to emulate in daily life. It also shows readers that one should always stand up for one's beliefs no matter how difficult the path may be.

"Looking for Lough Ine" is a truly entertaining read filled with action, fantasy and adventure.
