According to EW.com, GLEE favorite and Emmy Award winner Jane Lynch will lend her voice to an episode of THE SIMPSONS early next season.  Lynch's character is 'Roz,' Homer's assistant at the Nuclear Power Plant.

Al Jean, executive producer of the show says of her appearance, "She can do edge, sweetness, and a mix of both. I'm just embarrassed we didn't ask her before she was so successful because she's funny in everything she does. We were very happy when she said yes."

Jane Lynch, an Emmy Award winner for her work on GLEE as scheming cheerleading coach SUE SYLVESTER, has starred in numerous films, including "Julie & Julia," "Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story," "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby" and "The 40 Year Old Virgin," as well as in Christopher Guest's "For Your Consideration," "A Mighty Wind" and "Best in Show." Her television credits also include "Party Down," "Lovespring International," "Desperate Housewives," "Weeds" and "The L Word," in addition to her recurring roles on "Boston Legal," "Criminal Minds," "The New Adventures of Old Christine" and "Two and a Half Men," for which she received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series.
